Dr. H. B. Chandrashekar is a distinguished educationist with over 36 years of dedicated service in the field of school education. He has held several key leadership positions in the Government of Karnataka, including Senior Lecturer at DIET, Senior Assistant Director at DSERT, and Special Officer to the Hon'ble Minister for School Education. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to curriculum development, teacher education, educational policy, research, and large-scale capacity-building programmes.
A prolific author and researcher, Dr. Chandrashekar has written several books on educational psychology, school leadership, educational indicators, and child development. He has trained thousands of teachers, school heads, and educational administrators across Karnataka and has been a resource person for Doordarshan, All India Radio, and numerous state and national educational forums. His commitment to learner-centred education and educational transformation continues to inspire educators across the country.
